ONE TOUGH TIRE!!! Review by StephenD
Quality Value Price Bang for the Buck What can I say about this tire other than it's ONE TOUGH TIRE!
I have both front and rear MEFO Explorers on. I'm about to replace them after puting just over 10,000kms. Let me tell you that I wasn't easy on these. I've put them through mud, gravel, shale, chipped rocks and harsh pavement. Up to 135kms/hour on gravel roads and they held beautifuly! I'm not shy on twisting the throtle on my 950 and like all you katoom riders know, the torque on these bikes eat up most tires you give them.
The only slight complaint I do have is that the front explorer did cup and I wish it was just a bit more agressive for off road. Other than that they're unbeatable for a true Adventure style of riding! I've even put these through a single track race through the bush and came out first! Try them, you won't be dissapointed.
Ride like you own it!!!!

Great "Adventure" Tire Review by Tony
Quality Value Price Bang for the Buck If you have your KTM because you think the name "Adventure" is cool, this isn't the tire for you; But, if you actually use your bike to go on Adventures, then this is the one for your mount. This tire is almost as road friendly as the OEM Pirelli Scorpion (slightly more road noise, and minimal vibrations at low speed that smooth out as the mph's increase) but this tire is in a different league for off-road stuff. Especially in the loose dirt of trails after a long summer drought, and in the loose sand such as what you'll encounter in MOAB these days. Sorry folks, it's become almost too popular in my beloved MOAB and these days there are even busloads of geriatrics there. But, thankfully they ain't on the trials. The increased visitation (Jeeps especially) has resulted in churned up trails, which simply means "You need these tires." Mount this tire on your bike and your riding buds will be looking on in amazement at what you can do on such a big mount as the Adventure. By all means, "GO!" (Posted on 2/20/12)
