BrakeTech's Axis Center Carrier design is the strongest and longest lasting design on the market. Why have the buttons on your rotor take the force of both front and back as well as side to side. When you have a design that puts that much force on a simply button you are setting yourself up for a rotor that wears out fast and may warp over time. Their center carrier butts up against the the outer ring which transfers the braking force where it should transfer the force and doesn't rely on the buttons to do that. This allows the buttons to do their job and that is to allow the outer ring to accomplish one goal and that is to allow the outer ring to expand and contract from the heat generated under braking. Simple.
