One of the biggest complaints that we have about the 690 Enduro and SMC is the problem of the rear shock collar cross-threading on the shock body. It seizes on the shock body when adjusting preload or installing a stiffer spring and then you are stuck paying someone to re-machine or replace the shock body. This is the fix.
